Dear Friends,

“And being assembled together with them, He [Jesus] commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. . .you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:4-5, 8

Randy ministering to prisoners

Pool and pizza for our local family

In this world we need to continue believing God’s Word, and also to display His power. During July, I traveled to Arua, Uganda, East Africa for an outreach with “A Light to the Nations” (alighttothenations.com; and Facebook A Light to the Nations). I was able to encourage prisoners at a local long-term prison, speak to Pastors and leaders at our Fire Conference, and finally to share how to receive the Holy Spirit and His power at one of our evening meetings. The Team all agreed this event (our 15th) was the most dynamic yet. Thousands committed their lives to Jesus Christ. There were many astounding miracles, and so many set free from demonic strongholds. I do believe the Lord desires us to stretch our faith and not only preach the Word but release His power. This isn’t for the few, but for everyone who calls himself a follower of Jesus.

Baptism of our 88-year-old friend

On the home front, we extend a very special ‘Thank You’ from the pueblo of Quimixto to all the women at the Missions Luncheon who gave toward the town’s new water pump and motor. This will provide uninterrupted water service for the whole town. It has been delivered and will be installed as soon as skilled laborers return from a brief vacation.

We are gearing up for our 13th year of Caring for Kids. We still have the same terrific cooks and facilitators, so the meals will be ready to go in a few days in Boca de Tomatlan, and in Quimixto. Also, our two college students started classes already and are progressing wonderfully: Alondra in accounting, and Fabian in civil engineering.
We thank each of you so much for your faithful giving and prayers. The schools are grateful. We will keep you posted about some other worthy projects planned for this year. Again, thank you for your prayers. I am feeling well and strong enough to preach when called upon, and to keep feeding as long as there are hungry kids!

Blessings and love,
