July 2015 Newsletter

Dear friends,

Jesus says:

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

John 15:11-12

As we finished our ninth year of providing school lunches in Boca de Tomatlan and Quimixto, we had a time of very special joy. Our final lunch day of this term in Boca, as each class came to eat, each teacher and child brought us gifts of love: handmade cards, flowers, balloons, gifts of chocolates and embroidered pillow cases. Rocio, the Director of the school made a large poster filled with pictures of San and me and various helpers feeding the kids. She included eloquent notes of thanks and encouragement that we share here as to each of YOU who give and pray for this outreach: “You are uncommon people and extraordinary, who leave their print on one’s life and they remember that this world is still worth it.” We were humbled and blessed beyond measure. The children gave hugs and we were deeply moved by their love. THANKS to everyone who has helped us help so many who have so little.

“A Light to the Nations” is launching a major outreach in Rwanda near the Congo border July 15-19. Dana and Karman Morey and I will be leading a Women’s Conference, Leadership Conference and nightly outreach meetings with thousands attending. Please keep us and the people of Rwanda and Congo in your prayers. You can follow our blog at alighttothenations.com.

Thank you for your continued giving during the summer. This is a time when we still have expenses and hope to lay aside a small amount for the coming school year. Again, we pray God’s blessings on you and thank you for partnering with us to Care for Kids.
