“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”

We pray for each of you, that as your spiritual life strengthens you would equally experience financial prosperity and physical health.

We have enjoyed an active season being involved in a new church being established by our long-time friend, Pastor Lee Short. Christ’s Church is in Bucerias, 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, and meets under a high, open roof surrounded by a small rodeo arena, cows, chickens, and beautiful palm trees with mountains in the distance. You never know what may come your way here in Mexico. I have and will be preaching for Lee when he is away on other missions.

The end of April “Dia del Nino” (Day of the Child) was celebrated in each of our schools. Similar to ‘Field Day’, the schools set up lots of different games and competitions, give out ‘medals’ to the winners, and have special lunches. We had a great time and were able to provide all of the food plus gifts for the schools. Much of this was lovingly provided by Pastor Dave Howell and his church in Oklahoma.

Recently, our former Spanish teacher asked us to help judge the English speaking abilities of her students as part of her year-end battery of testing. We went to a technical high school and spoke one-on-one with each student, giving our evaluation of their skills. Lupita gave us Certificates of Appreciation. It was so great to re-connect with her.

Prayer Points

Along with the joyful times, we have spent the last couple of weeks praying for our son, Adam, who recently had major surgery to remove a cyst on his liver. He has come through the operation, but still has a lengthy period of recovery. Please pray for him.

Also pray for our outreach in Rwanda, East Africa during the month of July. ‘A Light to the Nations’ will again be doing humanitarian work, Women’s and Leaders’ Conferences, and evangelistic meetings for six days. I am looking forward to this amazing opportunity and know God will do what only He can do. I leave Puerto Vallarta July 9th and arrive back in Chicago July 22nd; so please remember the dates and pray for God’s grace, protection, and blessings.

Thank you so much for your faithful support. We appreciate your continued help during the summer when we will try to have a reunion with our children and grandchildren.

Blessings and love,

Randy and Sandra Barr
