Dear Friends,

The Bible says in Philippians 3:13-14

“…one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

ne of the great lessons we learn in life is that it’s best to forget mistakes and sins from our past and to remember we are forgiven, pronounced innocent, and are therefore free to move forward in freedom and joy. We can thank God for His mercy, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and the daily presence of the Holy Spirit with us. Paul called himself the chief of sinners because of his past persecution of Christians, then became overwhelmed by God’s goodness and call to be one of the chief Apostles of the Church.

We pray you had a joyful Christmas and are experiencing a hope-filled, positive New Year. We have been busier than ever the past couple of months. There are days we feel our age and are thankful for a comfortable bed. Most of all, we are grateful for our Family and faithful friends who give generously and pray faithfully for all we are doing here in Mexico.

After the holidays, it is always a joy to return to the school kids. Recently, friends who went to the Boca de Tomatlan lunch program said they were so impressed and touched by the children’s joy, obedience, gratitude, and love. We’ve never grown weary in sharing our days and resources with the children and families in the villages.

We are leading a Tuesday night Bible Study and enjoy seeing new people attend and also many who have come for seven years. I am still preaching at two churches as needed.

Please pray for me in the next couple of weeks, as it looks like I will be going through a couple of medical procedures that would mean a brief hospital stay.

Again, Thank You for your giving both in finances and prayers. We pray for You each day.

Love and blessings,
