Dear friends,

I realize our Mother’s Day greetings are a bit late, but heartfelt, nonetheless. Moms, I trust you were honored, appreciated, and felt very special for all you do and have done for your families.

This past month we have had several celebrations with our school kids. The end of April was Dia del Nino/Day of the Child. We provided hamburgers, hot dogs, cake, prizes for the relays and games, and bags full of little toys and candy. The kids dressed up, and had their faces painted.

May 10th is Mother’s Day in Mexico, no matter what day of the week it falls. Again, the school was the site of a party for all the Mothers, with games, prizes, performances by the kids, and lunch for the Moms. Sandra was able to speak and say how much we appreciate all the Mothers who volunteer to cook the meals for the Quimixto School. Wish you could have been there.

June is another busy month as we will be returning to Chicago area for the 40 year Reunion of our former Church, and the wedding of our son Luke to the lovely Brianne. Then we’ll continue our Barr Family Reunion on Lake Michigan.

I have been blessed to be able to preach and also to take part in a baptism service. The summer will likely provide other opportunities as many pastors take vacations.

We pray you will have a great and safe summer. Take time with the Family, and we hope you can keep the Lord involved in all you are doing.

Love and blessings,
Randy and Sandra Barr
