Barr Family Reunion
Not only do we have Joy, but peace, love, and purpose during our time on earth, because of the birth of our Savior. Good News indeed!
San and I have enjoyed a season of blessing, THANKS TO OUR FAITHFUL SUPPORTERS! The school lunch program for the kids continues to run smoothly. Recently, we were able to add the Kindergarten class in Boca de Tomatlan, 37 more children, making our total now over 230 happy faces per week.

Our neighbors took school pictures of all the students in Boca. Silver and Diane are professional photographers with generous hearts. They made a special, plastic coated, color photo for each child to take as a gift to their parents. The kids loved the process, and I know the parents will be equally grateful. Some of the kids are ‘naturals’ who loved posing for the camera.
We were also given toy trucks and dolls for the younger ages, and have distributed them to the two Kindergartens, to our many Mexican friends, condo workers, OXXO employees (like Seven/Eleven stores) for their children and grandchildren. The toys were donated by local friends here in P.V.

December 17-18, we suppled food for the Boca and Quimixto School Christmas POSADAS/parties. The kids all wanted hot dogs and hamburgers. They sang Christmas songs, played games, and took a swing at the many PINATAS they made in class for the Posada. Some of the piñatas were covered with blown eggs filled with confetti and spray-painted green like a Christmas tree. It was great fun!
On the 18th, we hosted in our condo the Posada for our condo employees. We enjoy serving and having the opportunity to show our gratitude. This year, the condo board (Randy is serving as President) supplied the food for a Mexican fiesta of fajitas and chicken enchiladas for twelve.
This is a great time of year to give to others and share God’s love by listening to those who might feel lonely or sad, giving hugs to one and all, and shining our smiles.
