Hello to all our friends and family,

Experiencing the JOY of GIVING, whether it be our money, our prayers, our time, or our help, is a special reward all its own.  We find out the truth of Jesus’ saying: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

Ephesians 2:10

We are grateful for the doors God has opened the past few months that grant us the opportunity of giving to those in need.  Our church’s feeding program, where I now assist, is providing over 400 meals per week to the neediest areas of Puerto Vallarta.  We also have committed volunteers who teach English as a second language and daily reach out to help the under-resourced.

Last week, with the help of friends, we launched a Bible Study Home Group in the Marina area, where there are thousands of condos housing long term vacationers and expats.  San and I are beginning a series on prayer and learning how to hear God’s voice.

Sandra is enjoying hosting the church’s Women’s Bible Study of Beth Moore’s “Jesus, the One and Only”.  I have also had repeated opportunities to bring God’s love by officiating at weddings, vow renewals, and memorial services.  I believe other doors will continue to open as we stand ready to be used in any way and any place God directs.

We encourage each of you to discover the call God has in mind for your lives.  Give Him time to speak to you, commit your ways, and I know you will discover the great joy of being a giver, and walking all the days  of your life in those “good works, which God prepared beforehand, that [you] should walk in.” Eph. 2:10 (above)

We THANK YOU for your love, prayers, and support as we seek to continue caring for kids and sharing God’s mercy with those who have deep needs.  Drop us an e-mail and let us know how you are doing.  If you have prayer needs, list them, and we will pray for you on a regular basis.  Thank you for standing with us!

God’s love, mercy, and joy be yours
