“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in
glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever.”

Our July trip to Ruhengeri, Rwanda for the Gospel Festival was, once again, a joyful challenge with amazing results. Over 300,000 people attended over the five days, with thousands receiving Jesus and many healed and set free. One man who had never walked stood up from his wheelchair and took his first faltering steps. What a time for celebration!

We want to make you aware of our current situation with Caring For Kids, here in Mexico. School begins in late August, our eighth year of feeding and working with the school children in Yelapa, Quimixto, and Boca de Tomatlan. With your help, we have given over 230,000 meals during the years; plus many other projects to assist the children and villages. Through your support for our scholarship program, Juan is soon to complete his training to become a Chef. We are so proud of him for passing his exams with a perfect score and being first in his class!

Due to the current financial crunch so many are experiencing in the U.S. and Canada, we likewise are facing new levels of faith challenges. At this point, we do not have sufficient funds coming in to meet our basic needs nor to initiate another year of the school feeding programs. I hesitate in sharing this information because our ultimate Source is the Lord, and He is well aware of our status. Yet, we feel we need to solicit your prayers and want you to know our desire is to place no human pressure upon you. We ask you to pray that we may clearly discern God’s will and continue walking in it all our days.

San and I still feel we are to continue caring for the kids here. We remain open, as we always have, to any new direction He may give. We ask you to likewise pray for His direction for the upcoming year. We will keep you posted.

Thank you, and may you know God’s love and blessing in your lives,

Randy and Sandra Barr
