Dear Friends,

“He is risen; He is risen indeed!”

What a proclamation of faith in a doubting, desperate society. I trust your Easter celebration was a time of thanksgiving and inspiration as we recalled the great cost of our salvation. We are continuing to be saved and transformed through God’s Word and Spirit. As we are being changed, we bring kingdom change to all we encounter. San and I have the privilege and challenge of sharing God’s love with school children here in Mexico. The kids continue to be a source of joy in our lives, and make us want to do more for them and their families.

This has been a very busy tourist season. We are blessed by the new people who go to the schools with us, serve the children, and have such a positive response to the program. One of our new friends wrote us upon his return home and said: “I’d have to say those couple of days I was able to hang out with you were the most enjoyable and memorable days of my vacation and of any day this year so far in 2010.”

A number of new friends have expressed a desire to include us in their missions giving for the coming year. With the current economy, we do need people willing to give as God gives to them. Not only the financial support, but the prayers and words of encouragement go a long way in keeping us focused on the call.

The families and children send along their love and appreciation to you as you remember them and us. They always say “Thank you” to us and to those who help us.

It is beautiful to see the gratitude of the mothers who volunteer on a rotating basis to cook for the whole school. We thank them every week for their service, but they always return our thanks to us for providing the food. What a blessing we receive! Their thanks go to you as well, and we wish you could receive it personally from their smiling faces.

Thank you so much for your help. We greatly appreciate your faithfulness, and continue to trust in God for provision for the work here.
