“S’Mores” at the lake

We had a great time this summer visiting friends and family and seeing our new grandsons. I also had an excellent two-hour conversation with Pastor John Cross, the new Senior Pastor of our former church, Fountain of Life. He is definitely the man to renew vision and stir revival.

Thanks to Adam’s generous friends, our family of 18 was able to spend a rent-free week in a beautiful Lake Michigan home. We gave the grandkids early Christmas gifts and got to watch them play. We played cards, ate great meals, and enjoyed nature and one another.

Now, we are back in Puerto Vallarta, beginning our fourth year of feeding and caring for kids in Mexico. All of the cooks were ready to go, and the kids seemed genuinely happy to see us again. The economy in these small villages has been hard hit, so we also find ourselves helping needy families. Hopefully, November will bring back the tourists and put food on the tables again.

We daily find joy and purpose in our work, and want to again thank you for standing with us during these challenging days. The Lord is faithful, and so many of you have shown His faithfulness to us.
