Dear friends,

Jesus said:

For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Matthew 12:37

As the verse reads, we should think before we speak, rather than re-act according to our emotions. May we seek to be peacemakers sharing God’s love, rather than provokers making rude comments that ultimately do nothing to create change in people’s lives.

For Christian believers, our call is to pray for the leaders of our nation and allow God to bring about His purposes. James 3:10 says: ‘Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.’ God help us.

January proved to be a busy month: I preached most Sundays, started our yearly Marina Bible Study, and returned to feeding the school children.  A good way to begin the New Year! Our church is also planting a new branch in the Marina where I will preach.

We think of you, and pray for many of you each day. We are grateful you remember us and so faithfully give so we in turn can give to the needy here in Mexico. May we continue to bring joy to the hearts of others.

Many of us know how blessed we are to have our health. After going through five weeks of feeling bad, I am glad to report my strength has returned, and I daily thank God for finally recovering.

Please stay in touch, let us know your needs, and we promise to pray for you and your families.

Let’s press onward and run the good race!

Love and blessings,
Randy and Sandra Barr
